Paul received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy at The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., where he studied with Paul Weiss. He wrote a M.A. Thesis on Thomistic natural law and a Ph.D. Dissertation on Ronald Dworkin's interpretive theory of law.
