The College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions offers
various programs leading to the Master of Science and Ph.D.
degrees. These are research-based programs preparing students
for careers in the pharmaceutical industry and
academia. Design and development of new therapeutic agents and
tools, evaluation of the physiological effects of drugs,
investigation of the biological basis of disease, for example, are
aims of the research programs in the college. The Ph.D and
thesis Masters programs require independent original research
projects carried out under the guidance of faculty mentors.
