Curriculum

The Master of Professional Studies in Sport Management degree requires completion of 39 credits. All students complete a common core of 21 credits followed by 9 credits of specialization courses. To complete the program, students must complete the capstone course (SPG 312) and complete a semester-long internship at sport organization or write a master’s thesis under the direction of a faculty member.

Students may choose to specialize in coaching leadership by taking SPG 307, 308, and 309 or specialize in the international dimensions of sport management by taking SPG 310, 311, and 402.
