For more than 30 years,The Center for
Professional Education at St. John's School of Risk Management,
Insurance and Actuarial Science has offered workshops, certificate
programs and professional designation examination preparation
courses, as well as consulting services to industry, governments
and regulators worldwide. The Center has served the
educational needs of more than 10,000 professionals in the
insurance, risk management and financial services
industries.

Custom programs for corporate
clients
The Center can also provide fully tailored, custom
programs and services, including benchmarking, which can
be designed to meet the specific requirements of corporate clients
and unique audiences. We can deliver classroom training at our
location in downtown Manhattan or onsite. We can also provide
online programs developed to a client’s specifications.

International School of
Management
The Center has a relationship with the Paris-based International
School of Management and its affiliates, all of whom offer programs
at various levels of graduate education. Students who are receiving
their degrees from those schools can take custom-designed courses
at the Center as part of their studies. Credits and degrees are
granted by the affiliated schools. If you are interested in
participating in or developing a similar program, please contact

Institute for Middle School and
High School Teachers
This two-week program, which is co-sponsored by the Insurance
Education Institute and St. John’s University, is designed to
enable middle school and high school teachers to become more
effective in teaching a range of insurance and insurance-related
subjects. The annual program, which meets during the
summer, is designed to give teachers a detailed understanding
of all forms of insurance, with emphasis upon their relevance to
high school students and their families. The program meets at
the Manhattan Campus of St. John's University, which is
conveniently located near the financial district.
