In order to obtain and maintain professional licenses,
agents, adjusters and brokers must pass rigorous state-mandated
exams. The Center for Professional Education provides a variety of
programs designed to address the licensing needs of agents, brokers
and adjusters in New York, New Jersey and other states, including:

The Benefits
Courses offered by the Center provide students with a comprehensive
understanding of both industry fundamentals and emerging
developments in the theory and practice of risk management and
insurance. Students who complete licensing preparation at the
Center receive thorough preparation for national examinations
required to earn professional licenses, often with higher pass
ratios than the national average.
The Faculty
With a mix of highly trained scholars and
experienced industry professionals, the Center's faculty offers
students both the technical fundamentals of and practitioner's
perspective on insurance and risk management.
The Facilities
All courses meet at the Center for Professional Education, within
the School of Risk Management, Insurance, and Actuarial Science,
conveniently located in the financial district of lower Manhattan.
Depending on enrollment, courses can also be held off-campus at an
organization's request.
