Associate Professor of Accounting and Taxation
Associate Professor Yeong C. Choi, holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from Drexel University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland. He has published thirteen articles in such peer-reviewed journals as: the Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, the Journal of Teaching in International Business, the Journal of Higher Education, the Review of Business, the Commercial Lending Review, and Bank Accounting and Finance, eight of which have been published since 1999. He has presented four papers at such international, national and regional academic forums as: the Annual Asian Conference, the Annual World Business Conference, the Annual Facing East/West Conference and the Mid-Atlantic Regional meeting of the American Accounting Association. He has published three monographs and has made many presentations at various academic and professional forums. He was awarded a Visiting Research Scholarship by the Bank of Korea.
Professor Choi was the recipient of a Visiting Research Grant from the Korean National Tax Administration, and was the recipient of the University's Outstanding Research Award for the 1993-94 academic year. He has provided consulting services to Moneyspot Inc., and Viable Korea Co. Ltd.
