Office of Global Studies - Greek Culture Night, Queens Campus

February 21, 2008 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Council Hall, Queens Campus

The Greek Society is hosting a night of Greek food and music. Dig into some tasty moussaka and the nearly five thousand years of Greek history. This event will whet your appetite for the three-week pre-summer class we have this summer.

Through our Greek Civilization and Archeology course you’ll visit the Parthenon in Athens, where you’ll gain new insights into past civilizations. While in Athens, you’ll take field trips to sites like the Acropolis and the National Archaeological Museum (ranked one of the top ten museums in the world). Beyond the city of Athens, you’ll travel to ancient Delphi and the island of Aegina. As an archeologist, you’ll continue on a three-day adventure to the Argolis — Corinth, Mycenae, Tiryns, Epidaurus, Nauplion. Enjoy!
