Admission Policy

Decisions on admission are made in accordance with St. John's University's policy, which provides for the complete processing of applications as soon as all required materials are received. At that time, a decision is made and the prospective student is notified.

Although we review applications on a rolling basis, we encourage students to apply as early as possible to increase their chances of receiving financial aid and being admitted into their first choice program. For the fall semester, we encourage students to apply by July 1; for spring, December 1; and for summer, May 1. We will continue to accept applications past these suggested dates on a space-available basis.

Once you are an accepted student, in order to secure your place in the program, all accepted students are required to submit a $250 non-refundable deposit.

Students who will not have reached the age of 18 by the time of the beginning of their study abroad semester must secure and provide parental permission.
