Dear Office of Global Studies,
I just wanted to share with you my feelings about the study
abroad programs at St. John's. First of all, as a former student, I
wish they had these programs when I attended St. John's in the 70s
and 80s. Secondly, my son just returned from the Study Aboard
program in Italy during the Fall Semester and I just wanted to tell
you that this was a great experience for my son.
Although, he currently doesn't live at home but dorms at the
Queens campus, his travels have increased his independence and he
has grown as an individual. The experience of traveling to
many countries, some where he might never return to in his
lifetime, was priceless. He made many friends, learned a lot about
Italian culture and his Italian heritage. Overall, he had an
incredible experience.
