St. John’s University has two distinctive semester long programs
for you to choose from. Discover the World: Europe and our
premier Rome semester. Each program has been carefully
developed with students needs in mind. For those of you who are
interested in taking advantage of traveling in one semester we
offer the Discover the World program and for others who prefer to
get to know one location better our Rome campus may be ideal for
you. As a Vincentian school we include service learning
opportunities in each location for students to help change the
world and understand their host country on a deeper level.

Rome Semester - spend a full semester or even a year at
St. John’s University’s campus in Rome, Italy – a premier academic
institution in the heart of the Eternal City. While there, you’ll
conduct an in-depth exploration of Italian history, language and
culture, using the distinctive academic resources of this
remarkable city.

Discover the World: Europe – in a single semester,
you’ll immerse yourself in the languages, cultures, and communities
of three countries through this innovative St. John’s program.
Experience life in a variety of countries to gain a broader
understanding of the issues shaping our changing world.
