Imagine being able to speak French like a native. To master it
you need to immerse yourself in the language and culture. Consider
this the perfect opportunity. Our French language courses allow you
to practice French on a daily basis. You’ll be able to watch French
films in the movie houses lining the Champs Elysées, chat with
Parisians as you stroll through the Parc Tullieres or order a
crocque-monsieur at a local bistro – what better way to learn
French?
You’ll not only spend time in Paris, but also will experience
the variety of traditions in the vibrant South of France. Why not
take our French Culture course as well to further enhance your
experience? You’ll stop in Drôme Provençale for an exciting
service-learning project the French government has tailored
especially for St. John’s students. As a participant in the
Monastery of Sainte Croix restoration project, you’ll have the
experience of a lifetime spending a half-day assisting in the
reconstruction of the Monastery, followed by an afternoon of
cultural activities.
