Dr. M. T. Geoffrey Yeh Art Gallery, Queens Campus

On Thursday, December 1st at 6 PM Percussia will be teaming up
with harpist Susan Jolles in a program of harp and percussion
music.
This program features two works by the great composer Lou Harrison,
and a piece by the Greek-American composer Dinos Contantinides for
harp and multiple percussion. It also features several newly
commissioned works, including pieces by the Californian composer
Bill Clark for vibes, xylophone, glockenspiel and harp, and a piece
by New York composer Seth Bedford for Orff xylophone and harp. We
will also be presenting the second performance of a brand new piece
by the Brooklyn composer Angélica Négron. Rounding out the program
will be a duo arrangement of the video game Super Mario Brothers
for xylophone and harp.
