Management Ready New York Presentation on Hurricane
Preparedness
Adverse Weather Conditions can negatively impact the operation
of the University and impact your safety and that of your
home. Awareness of, and preparedness for, these kinds of
threats can reduce the effects of the disaster. St. John’s is
happy to announce that we have coordinated with the New York City
Office of Emergency Management to offer their Ready New York
Presentation on Hurricanes and New York City.
The Atlantic hurricane season officially runs from June 1st though
November 30th. The NYC OEM Presentations will include general tips
on how to prepare for any emergency, instructions on how you can
prepare your family disaster plan and secure your home before a
storm.
