St. John’s Professors Featured on Queens Public Television

Theresa Hughes, Andrew Ferdinandi and Frank Brady Appear on “Mel Berkowitz Presents”

St. John’s University will be featured on Queens Public Television (QPTV) next week to promote its Child Advocacy Clinic, Counseling Services and Communications initiatives on “Mel Berkowitz Presents” – a weekly one hour information and talk show program.

Host Mel Berkowitz interviewed Professor Theresa A. Hughes, Director and Co-Founder of the Child Advocacy Clinic in the School of Law at St. John’s University, Andrew Ferdinandi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Services and Counseling in The School of Education at St. John’s University and third-year law student Despina Hartofilis for the first part of his show to air next Wednesday, December 27 and Thursday, December 28 on selected Time Warner Cable stations. The topic of discussion in the segment will center on issues of child abuse, law and counseling for Queens residents and their families.

Frank Brady, Ph.D., Chairman of Mass Communications at St. John’s University is featured in the second half of the segment discussing journalism, television and film opportunities and initiatives that the school is currently undertaking.

Berkowitz, along with his television hosting duties at QPTV, has been an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at St. John’s University since 2000.
