The pages assembled here under the title of “Assessment
Materials” fall into two categories. The first section is
“Unpacking Assessment,” which is an extended overview for chairs
and faculty. It is broken up into a series of sections in hopes of
easing navigation through the text. This material is new as of
August 2011, and will continually be modified and updated as we
receive ongoing faculty and administrative feedback.
The second category is “Assessment Tools,”
which includes various assessment resources, many of which have
existed previously in different places on our website and are now
housed here in one place. This includes information on rubrics,
links to related organizations and archives, and
bibliographies.
