The English Language Table (ELT) encourages communication and socialization opportunities for international students to help them develop conversational English skills, enrich their vocabulary, sharpen their listening skills, and make friends with American students. The ELT also offers an opportunity for local American students to perform real service and to practice facilitator skills in a small group. It also provides STJ students who plan to study abroad an environment to interact with our international students from all over the world. This is also an opportunity for the native English speakers to serve as a group leader for community service hours. A FREE program with 16 sessions per academic year. Open to STJ students only. Pre-registration required. Pizza served. More info: Rosa Yen at yenc@stjohns.edu
