Women's History Month 2011: "Our History
is Our Strength"
Unlike the popular song from Lauryn Hill, the Sigma Gamma Rho
Sorority, Inc. “Killing Me Softly” program is highlighting the
effects of HIV/AIDS within the community of African-American women.
With plans to educate their audience on the dangers, stereotypes,
and how to protect themselves, they hope to reach out and touch
someone’s heart, possibly save a life, and lower the statistics.
Presented by Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.
