St. John’s College of Professional Studies (CPS) Homeland
and Corporate Security (HCS) Student’s Association will host
its third Annual Awards Dinner on Wednesday, April 4 at 6:30
p.m.in the D’Angelo Center at the University’s Queens campus. The
HCS Awards Celebration and Dinner is open to students involved with
the program and their families, invited homeland security,
personnel from the private security sector, military and political
dignitaries, as well as faculty and administrators of St.
John’s.
The dinner will celebrate the achievements of
St. John’s CPS students, program and faculty. A section of the
dinner will also include the induction of 12 students into the
Order of the Sword and Shield.
Also, VIP attendees will include James O’Keefe, Deputy
Police Commissioner of the NYPD, who has taken leave from his
duties asAssociate Dean and Professor of Criminal Justice &
Legal Studies in St. John’s University’s College of Professional
Studies to assume his new role working under Commissioner Ray Kelly
for the City of New York.

Association Class of 2012
A VIP reception will begin at 5:30 p.m.
followed by a dinner at 6:30 p.m. on the 4th floor
center ballroom of the University’s D’Angelo Center.
