Marillac Hall, Rm. 239, Queens Campus

Fridays in the Soup Kitchen is a terrific opportunity for staff,
faculty, and administrators to bring to life the Vincentian spirit
by feeding the poor. Groups gather and travel together to
Bread and Life Soup Kitchen in Brooklyn, serve at the soup line or
the food pantry for the lunch period. Participants have the chance
to have lunch and engage in companionship with those being served.
After the service, there is an opportunity to reflect and
make the service experience more meaningful from a Vincentian
perspective. As staff, faculty, and administrators, we are called
to deepen our spiritual life and this service experience is a great
way to do so.
