S.T.A.R. HALLOWEEN EXTRAVAGANZA!

         On Monday, October 31st, the S.T.A.R. Mentorship Program hosted a Halloween Extravaganza to provide mentors and buddies with the opportunity to bond during this spooky event. Members of S.T.A.R. donated refreshments for the event, while others encouraged Halloween spirit by dressing in full costume. All attendees had the opportunity to take photos, watch the classic Halloween movie "Hocus Pocus," and perhaps share a laugh or two. At the close of the event, the S.T.A.R. Coordinators awarded two prizes; treat bags filled with candy and a Starbucks gift card, to the best dressed pair. Congratulations to mentor, Kelvin Sage and freshmen buddy, Saalima Welch, who dressed up as Batman and an adorable school girl! Overall, the S.T.A.R. Coordinators were thrilled at the large turnout and enthusiasm of all who attended. It will certainly be one of many exciting events to come!
