Need to Read/Path to Math
Need to Read/Path to Math
Our Education majors have been volunteering at local public schools here on Staten Island in the Need to Read and Path to Math programs. Children, who struggle with math and reading, benefit from a little extra help from our generous volunteers. Through this after-school tutoring program in selected Staten Island Public Schools, student volunteers work with small groups of children, no more than 4 at a time, conducting guided reading sessions or direct math instruction.
