The English Language Table (ELT) encourages communication and
socialization opportunities for international students to help them
develop conversational English, enrich their vocabulary, sharpen
their listening skills, and make friends with American students.
The ELT offers an opportunity for local American students to
perform real service and to practice facilitator skills in a small
group. It also provides American students who plan to study abroad
an environment to interact with their fellow international
students. The native English speakers serving the ELT can be
verified for the community service hours. FREE program, 8 sessions
per semester, St. John's students only, pre-registration required.
