There is an exhibit of portrait paintings by local artist
Peter Malone at the Loretto Memorial Library, St. John’s University
through April 15th.A resident of Staten Island, Peter Malone
received his BFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in
1977 and an MA in Painting from Teachers College, Columbia
University in 1985. He is Adjunct Assistant Professor at
Kingsborough Community College, CUNY and for the past ten years has
served as Kingsborough’s Art Gallery Director. His work has been
exhibited nationally and is included in numerous private and
corporate collections as well as the Elizabeth deC Wilson Museum,
Manchester VT and the Munson-Williams-Proctor Museum of Art, Utica,
NY.
