The Department offers academic programs in Speech-Language
Pathology and Audiology. Our mission is to teach students the
principles and skills of these disciplines so that graduates will
be prepared for further study.
The Department derives its strength from two
sources: our
faculty and our
facilities. Our experienced faculty members bring
academic and professional expertise to their teaching and
research. For students pursuing studies in Speech-Language
Pathology and Audiology, our off-campus, state-of-the-art Speech
and Hearing Center offers hands-on clinical experience in providing
diagnostic and treatment services to speech-language and
hearing-impaired children and adults.
The Department offers a
Bachelor of Arts degree program as well as a minor in
Speech-Language Pathology and two graduate programs, the
Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and the
Doctor of Audiology.
