Career opportunities abound for professionals with Italian language skills.  One of the world’s top five economies, Italy is a member of the “G8 Group” of the world’s wealthiest democracies. More than 1,000 U.S. firms have offices in Italy, where an estimated 7,500 American companies do business Italy enjoys a booming tourist industry with millions visiting Rome each year.

You can prepare for these exciting opportunities by majoring or minor in Italian at St. John’s University.  Our 33-credit major immerses students in Italian language and culture which provides them experimental learning.  Our 18 credit minor allows students to combine their knowledge in Italian language and culture with a major field of study.
