PHY 1020: Physics in Words and Pictures

A survey of modern physics without math. Words and pictures illustrate our current concepts of the laws of nature. These are used to explain various everyday phenomena, the scientific view of the cosmos, and elements of modern technology.

No prior study of physics required.
