Interdisciplinary Minor in New York Studies

The interdisciplinary minor program in New York Studies will:

  • Move beyond Discover New York to a more detailed analysis of New York as a global city.
  • Present theoretical frameworks and research studies about New York from a number of different perspectives.
  • Offer our student population from local communities and around the world an analysis of New York.
  • Carry out the “metropolitan” aspect of St. John’s University Mission statement.

Select the remaining 15 credits from among the following courses.
No more than six credits can be from mini-session courses.
No more than six credits can be from any one discipline.
