Every St. John's student takes "Literature in a Global Context,"
and every student is supposed to write a critical paper. Is the
"five paragraph essay" the only way to teach literary criticism and
interpretation? In the first of a series of forums on teaching and
learning global literature, English 1100 instructors share the
alternative writing strategies they use in the classroom to engage
students more deeply with global literature and proceed more
confidently toward critical writing. Please join us as we share
innovative methods and positive results.
