The English Department of St. John's College hosts a forum on "Global Literature and Learning: Student-Faculty Explorations"

Please join us for a showcase of the innovative teaching, the superior student learning, and best of all, the inspiring literature that makes English 1100C, "Literature in a Global Context," a foundation of the liberal arts at St. JOhn's University.  Professor Ashwak Fardoush, Erik-John Fuhrer, Michael Herman, and Laura Lisabeth discuss the impact that global literature has had on their teaching. They are joined by their students, who tell how literature has helped them gain skills and confidence not just for further study but for living in a global society.

All University Core classes create special opportunities for student-faculty engagement.  This forum celebrates the unique learning environment that students and faculty create when they explore the world together.
