Woon-Kai Low, Ph.D., an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Pharmaceutical Sciences, earned his Ph.D. degree in biochemistry
from the University of Toronto. Prior to coming to St. John’s he
served as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Pharmacology
and Molecular Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of
Medicine from 2002-09. Dr. Low’s research interests are
focused in the discovery and characterization of novel compounds
for use as potential therapeutic agents in the treatment of cancer.
He will teach courses in pharmaceutical sciences.
