What is Advertising Communication?

Advertising communication is the way organizations and businesses reach the public through the media that touch all our lives - radio, television, magazines, newspapers and electronic publishing.

Advertising communication is creativity - copywriting, art direction and producing commercials or ads.

Advertising communication is business - the way account managers and creative talent work together in an advertising agency to create commercials and ads that help sell the client’s products to the target audience.

B.S. in Advertising Communication
Through the Bachelor of Science degree program in Advertising Communication, students gain a thorough understanding of the advertising industry. Students also learn how advertising agencies function as creative businesses that work with clients to reach a specific audience.

By the time they graduate, students will possess the knowledge and skills needed to excel in various advertising-related occupations, including advertising account executives, art directors, copywriters, media buyers and planners.
