St. John's University participates in the Cisco Network Academy
Program. A selection of telecommunications courses, taught by
Cisco certified instructors, prepares the student to earn the Cisco
Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Networking
Fundamentals, Routers and Router Concepts, Switching, Design
Practice, and LAN Design, and WAN Technologies and WAN Design are
courses in the Cisco Network Academy, and may be selected in
conjunction with the telecommunications option of the Bachelor of
