Members of the Caribbean Students' Association will gather to
celebrate the life of the legendary reggae artist and social
activist, Bob Marley. Through an examination of his conscious
songwriting and discussion of the historical and theoretical
underpinnings of his music, the presenter will seek to highlight
Marley's importance as an artist and sociopolitical
commentator.
