The Marketing team is responsible for raising the visibility of the Global Microloan Program to both the internal St. John's University community and external supporters.  By using promotional items and events, press releases, newsletters, advertising and networking the marketing team raises awareness about the GLOBE initiatives.

Semester Tasks

  • Find sources of funding and create a sustainable plan for the future of the program. 
  • Maintain donor relations and spread information about GLOBE.
  • Work with student organizations on the Queens campus to develop event partnerships.
  • Partner with the Staten Island campus Sales Promotion Marketing class to pursue fundraising and awareness events.
  • Finalize an informative newsletter for distribution to the university community and future GLOBE students.
