Sport Performance Public Relations Intern
Morgan Lee is currently working as sport performance public
relations Intern for Adidas, the opportunity to working with the
public relations team regard new and upcoming products. Morgan
has assisted with PR promotion at the Knicks vs. Bulls games at
Madison Square Garden for the newly released D. Rose
'Brenda'. This opportunity allowed Morgan to gain first-hand
experience in PRwithin Adidas and an outside PR agency. In the near
future, Morgan expects to work with the marketing team and
showrooms to advertise the merchandise.
Her previous internship was at Modern Luxury Media, a publishing
company that publishes Manhattan Magazine and Front Desk New York.
The internship allowed Morgan to experience the sales and marketing
side of business. “As a sales and marketing intern I had numerous
responsibilities such as researching information for developing
events; competitor analysis; assisting at events and running
errands.”
After graduation, Morgan hopes to obtain a position with Adidas
through her internship. She also plans to apply for jobs in
marketing or the public relating industry.
“St. John’s is well-known school and I wanted that. The student
body size is large which gives that university feeling I wanted but
at the same time you still get a reasonable class size. TCB has
numerous successful graduates. I knew that taking up marketing at
TCB, I would get a well-rounded business background.”
