Professors sometimes tell you where they will order books for the
class. Sometimes it is up to you.

St. John's University's Campus Bookstore (Queens, SI,
Manhattan) also has a Rent-a-book program. Call them for more

- Ed’s Bookstore: Located at 17627 Union Turnpike (Corner of
Union Tpke. /Utopia Pkwy.). It’s been there for decades.
- Strand’s Bookstore:
Largest Used Bookstore in New York City (has an online database to
check for price/availability)
Note: it is required for professors to have their textbook
requirements on file at the
Campus Bookstore website ahead of time so you can check the
price and shop around!
