If you are going to be accompanied by a spouse or child, you
must show that you possess the additional funds to meet the living
needs of these dependents. They do not need to submit an
I-20 application.
Please refer to the I-20 application instructions for
dependents. Each dependent, if eligible, will receive his or
her own Form I-20.
Spouses and dependent children of F-1 students and J-1 Exchange
Visitors are not subject to the SEVIS fee.
