Da’Shena Stevens scored a game-high 17 points and three other
players reached double-figures in scoring as the St. John’s women’s
basketball team posted an 82-52 win over Massachusetts on Wednesday
night at the Mullins Center.
Stevens led the team in scoring for the second-straight time this
season with her 17-point performance, 11 coming in the final half.
The sophomore was 8-of-14 from the field and 1-of-2 from the
charity stripe. She also came close to posting a double-double with
nine rebounds in the game.
