Picture Yourself Being A Leader
As a St. John’s student, you are heavily encouraged to visit the
University’s Career Center throughout your four
years of college. With a professional staff their to help prepare
you for the later stages of college when you’re searching for an
internship- and eventually jobs- the University Career Center will
help freshman begin molding a resume.
As a freshman, your resume might only include a summer job and
any clubs or organizations that you have joined as an underclassman
in college, but that will be the foundation to a resume that will
help you land the all-important internship your junior or senior
year.
The Career Center can also help students choose a major and
mentor them about the type of career they should be pursuing.
Through the University’s COACH
program (Count on Alumni for Career Help), current students can
get career advice from a variety of alumni in different fields. The
Career Center also offers interview prep, resume advice, and
internship and job fairs for upperclassman.
