Benefits of a Combined Degree

Students reduce their overall educational costs by completing 12 graduate credits as undergraduates. In their fifth year, graduate assistantships, including full tuition and a stipend, are available.

Students enrolled in this academically competitive program also may apply for a Research Assistantship or Teaching Assistantship in their academic department. GRE scores are required for consideration. Interested students should file their applications by January of their senior year.

There also are personal and professional benefits to the combined degree program. Students graduate with an advanced degree in their field, making them more attractive job candidates. Also, graduates may begin their doctoral studies sooner than they would with a traditional program.
