Picture Yourself Studying Abroad
As a St. John’s student, you will not only get to live and study
in the world’s greatest city, but you’ll have the opportunity to
study abroad in some of the most historic cities on earth. Through
the Office of Global
Studies, you could spend a semester on our Rome or Paris
campus, travel to England, China, or Bermuda during the summer, or
participate in our unique
Discover the World program.
Discover the World allows sophomore or junior year students to
spend a semester in Europe studying in three different cities. You
will definitely go to our Rome and Paris campus and then we let you
choose the third city. You can either go to Dublin, Ireland and see
the Dublin Castle or enjoy unique Spanish cuisine in Salamanca,
Spain.
Even before starting college, you could spend two weeks in
Europe. Through the Freshman
Passport program, you can start one of your first semester
classes about a month before your classmates on our Rome campus.
The inaugural trip left on Aug. 1, 2009 and started the Discover
New York course a bit early, and with an added dimension. As the
only study abroad program open to freshman, there is also the
January trip you can take advantage of.
