Alumni in the Washington, DC area are
invited to spend an
evening with St. John's University President Rev. Donald J.
Harrington, C.M. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Fr. Harrington will
discuss the University's many achievements during the past year and
share details regarding the exciting new initiatives that St.
John's will be undertaking in the months ahead.

Notre Dame
College Alumnae Come Home
More than 100 alumnae, friends and St. John’s University community
members gathered on a sunny Saturday, May 3 morning for the Notre
Dame College (NDC) Homecoming at St. John’s Staten Island
campus. Alumnae from the classes of 1938, 1943, 1948, 1953,
1958, 1963 and 1968 celebrated the anniversaries of their
graduation from Notre Dame College (now the St. John’s Staten

Cinema in
the City
A Saturday afternoon proved to be a perfect day for a good
movie at the Manhattan campus on April 26. Members of the
Loughlin Society and the McCallen Society were treated to Cinema in
the City with a special showing of The Great Debaters
starring and directed by Academy Award winning actor Denzel
Washington.
