Use Long Island Expressway (LIE) eastbound or Southern State
Parkway eastbound.
From LIE eastbound
Take LIE eastbound to Exit 53S, south to Sagtikos State
Parkway to Exit S4/Southern State Parkway eastbound. Follow
directions from Southern State Parkway.
From Southern State Parkway
eastbound
Use Exit 44 East (Montauk), and get on Sunrise Highway (27)
eastbound. Follow directions from Sunrise Highway west of
Oakdale.
From Sunrise Highway west of
Oakdale
Take Sunrise Highway (27) eastbound until you see a sign for
Oakdale-Montauk Highway (Rt. 85). Exit Sunrise Highway on your
right and come to a light. Make a left, and bear right going over a
small bridge. Follow directions from Oakdale.
From Montauk Highway west of
Oakdale
Take Montauk Highway (27A) eastbound until you see a sign for
Oakdale-Montauk Highway (Rt.85); Exit Sunrise Hwy. on your right,
and at the light, make a left turn. Bear right going over a small
bridge. From here, follow directions from Oakdale.
From Oakdale
Drive through Oakdale passing five traffic lights. (The
Oakdale Shopping Plaza is on your left after the fifth light.)
After this light, you should see the west entrance of the campus on
your right. Enter the campus and proceed down the road until you
come to a gate. At the gate turn left, the Mansion (Administrative
Offices) is approximately 100 feet on your right.
From points east of Oakdale, Long
Island
Use LIE westbound or Sunrise Highway westbound.
From Long Island Expressway
westbound
Take LIE westbound to Exit 59 Ocean Avenue/Ronkonkoma
Oakdale south. Proceed southbound on Ocean Avenue. Ocean Avenue
merges into Lakeland Avenue (Rt. 93) Cross Veterans Memorial
Highway (454) and continue to Sunrise Highway (27) westbound.
Proceed westbound on Sunrise Highway for one exit to Exit 48 Locust
Avenue/Oakdale-Bohemia. Make left at the light onto Locust Avenue
and continue south on Locust Avenue for two miles to Montauk
Highway (27A). At Montauk Highway make a right, and the main
entrance to the campus is on your left. The main entrance leads to
the Mansion. The west entrance to the campus is 300 feet past the
main entrance and is also on your left.
From Sunrise Highway east of
Oakdale
Take Sunrise Highway (27) westbound to Exit 48 Locust
Avenue/Oakdale-Bohemia. At the light make a left onto Locust
Avenue, south. Proceed southbound on Locust Avenue for two miles
until you reach to end, which is Montauk Highway (27A). Make a
right, and continue on Montauk Highway for 100 feet and turn left
into the west entrance of the campus. Proceed until you come to a
gate. At the gate, turn left and the Mansion (Administrative
Offices) is approximately 100 feet on the right side.
From Montauk Highway east of
Oakdale
Take Montauk Highway (27A/Main Street) westbound through
Sayville and West Sayville. On your left is the West Sayville Golf
Course. After the golf course, there is a light on Brook Street.
Continue on Montauk Highway another 100 feet to the west entrance
of the campus. Proceed down the road until you come to a gate. At
the gate, turn left and the Mansion is approximately 100 feet on
the right.
Directions by LIRR
At either the Penn Station (Manhattan or the Atlantic
Avenue/Flatbush Terminal (Brooklyn) take the LIRR train for
Oakdale. The trip takes approximately ninety minutes. If you decide
to take an express, the train will end at the Babylon Station where
you have to change to a local train to Oakdale. Taxi service is
available at the Oakdale Station, located only a few minutes away
from the west entrance to the campus.
