Robert Kalenka '84CBA, '91MBA received the Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award of St. John’s University at the 28th Annual Alumni Convocation on Friday, May 29, 2009.

A double alumnus of St. John’s University, he  received his B.S. in Accounting from the College of Business Administration in 1984 and his MBA in Finance from the College of Business Administration in 1991.  Mr.  Kalenka began his professional career as a Senior Auditor at Holtz, Rubenstein and Company immediately after his undergraduate graduation, and three years later was named Vice President of Finance at The Independent Election Corporation of America. 

In 1992 he became Senior Vice President at Automatic Data Processing, and presently serves as Chief Operating Officer-ICS at Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. 

Mr. Kalenka has consistently demonstrated his devotion to St. John’s through membership in The Loughlin Society, support of the Father Dorr Golf Classic and participation on the TCBAA Advisory Board. 

“This is a terrific night, a wonderful night, and I’m happy to be a part of it,” he said.  “St. John’s has done so many great things for me.”

The Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award is an honor reserved for alumni who have either distinguished themselves in their personal careers and professions or have made a significant contribution to the life of the University.
