Lawrence J. Ruisi
A double alumnus of St. John’s University, Lawrence J. Ruisi received his B.S. in Accounting in 1970 and his M.B.A. in Finance in 1975, both from St. John’s College of Business Administration. Currently a Private Investor/Consultant, he has held a number of senior executive positions, including President and Chief Executive Officer of Loews Cineplex Entertainment and Executive Vice President of Sony Pictures Entertainment. He is a member of the Board of Advisors of The Peter J. Tobin College of Business and The Loughlin Society. In 1995 alma mater presented him with the Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award. In celebration of his exceptional business career, his loyalty to St. John’s and in recognition of the 40th anniversary of his undergraduate graduation and the 35th anniversary of the awarding of his M.B.A., St. John’s University is pleased to present the Pietas Medal to Lawrence J. Ruisi.
