College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in 1956. During his remarkable
business career he held positions as a Specialist on the floors of
both the American and New York Stock Exchanges. In 1995 he joined
the brokerage firm of Purcell Graham and Company, retiring as
President in 2004. Living out the Vincentian mission of service, he

New York and a former member of the Audit Committee of the Diocese
of Rockville Centre. His love for alma mater is evidenced through

In 2001 a grateful University presented him with the Alumni
Outstanding Achievement Award. Tonight, in celebration of his
professional success and his outstanding service and on the 55th
anniversary of his graduation, St. John’s University proudly
