Presentation of the
Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award
to
James Gentilcore
James Gentilcore received his B.B.A. from the College of
Business Administration in 1962. He has held senior executive
positions at United Artists Corporation, Transamerica Corporation,
Turner Entertainment Company and MGM. He is a member of the Academy
of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Academy of Television Arts
and Sciences and the Board of Directors of Senior Volunteer
Services of San Luis Obispo, CA. In 2009 he received The
President’s Volunteer Service Award from President Barack Obama. He
supports the University as a member of The Loughlin Society.
Tonight, in celebration of his professional success and on the 50th
anniversary of his graduation, St. John’s University is pleased to
present the Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award to James
Gentilcore.
