Cathy Schiavo, CPA is an Audit Senior at Berdon LLP, a major
advisory and accounting firm in New York. She works closely with
clients across an array of business sectors, among them real
estate, finance, nonprofit and advertising. Her responsibilities
include preparing tax returns for various entities and individuals
and conducting audits, reviews and compilations of financial
statements. She often serves as a liaison between the client, banks
and brokers, helping to facilitate funding and other transactions.
Cathy is particularly proud of having assisted a client in applying
for a tax credit which resulted in a more than $150,000 tax refund.
She graduated from Pace University in 1991 with a B.S. in
Accounting.
