Michael Verna graduated in 2002 from St. John’s College of
Professional Studies with a B.S. in Sport Management. He is
currently employed by the New Jersey Nets as a Senior Account
Executive in Partnership Marketing. His responsibilities include
working with major corporate sponsors and executing all elements of
their marketing contracts from conception to completion. Michael
manages the accounts of a number of major advertisers, including
Anheuser-Busch, MetroPCS and Amtrak. In addition, he is responsible
for managing the Nets’ television and radio advertising and
trafficking. He continues to support the University by
participating in alumni events, speaking with current Sport
Management students and following Red Storm basketball.
