Mr. Rice, who graduated from St. John’s in 1974 with a degree in criminal justice, leads a world-wide team of security executives responsible for protecting the companies’ employees and products in his role as Vice President for Global Security at Estee Lauder Companies. Serving on numerous boards and receiving accolades for his work and commitment to New York City, Mr. Rice has been honored with the Achievement Award from the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE). And, as a testament to his commitment to the children of NYC, he served as chairman for the Law Enforcement Explorers and was later elected Chairman Emeritus. Mr. Rice also served on the Board of Governors at St. John’s University and is a trustee of Hale House New York City.

Ms. Skarulis currently oversees all computing and communications for the clinical, research, and educational enterprise as Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Prior to joining Sloan Kettering, Ms. Skarulis served in a similar capacity as Vice President and CIO at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago where she was also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Systems Management.

Mr. Janetschek, a 1984 graduate of the College of Business Administration at St. John’s, currently serves as chief financial officer and partner at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Company.  The Janetschek family has a long association with the University. William Janetschek, Sr., graduated in 1963, and his son honored him by establishing the William J. Janetschek, Sr. Scholarship Fund and an endowed Vincentian Scholars Scholarship to assist an academically qualified and deserving senior student at St. John’s. Janetschek House, one of the student residences in the University’s Founders Village, was also named for the senior Janetschek through his son’s generosity.
